Brian Ray is an associate professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has published three books on topics in rhetoric and composition. His work has also appeared in Composition Studies, Written Communication, the Journal of Basic Writing, Writing Program Administration, Rhetoric Review, and CCC. He is currently developing and piloting a composition curriculum for multiple student populations based on self-directed learning (SDL) and Hyflex instruction modalities.
